What we collect, which is almost nothing.
This page covers tryalfred.co — the public site and its waitlist. It does not cover the Alfred product itself, which has its own agreement, and which nobody on the waitlist has yet.
What this page collects
Your email address, when you type it into the waitlist form. Your first name, if you choose to give it. The answers you give on the thank-you page, if you give any — your role, team size, which tools you use, what you want first, and whatever you write in the boxes.
Any follow-up question you ask under an answer in the FAQ, and the reply you were shown. The reply is written for you on the spot by a language model, from the words on this page and nothing else — it has no access to anything about you, and your question is not sent anywhere beyond us. We keep both because a question we could not answer is the most useful thing on the page, and because a sentence shown to you in our voice is one we should be able to read back.
Alongside each signup we keep where you came from — a campaign tag from the link, or the site that linked to you — so we know which post worked. We do not build a profile, and we do not buy or sell anything about you.
What it does not collect
There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no session recorder and no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to. Your address is in the request your browser makes when you submit the form, and your rate limit is counted against it briefly; it is not stored with your signup.
If a demo video is embedded from a third party, it is loaded only after you press play, and nothing from that provider reaches your browser before you do.
Why we have it
To tell you when early access reaches you, and to decide what to build next. The answers are read by the people building Alfred and by nobody else. They are not used to train a model.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us not to, or until the waitlist is closed and everyone on it has heard from us. We would rather delete your row than keep a list that no longer means anything.
Being removed
Write to hello@tryalfred.co and ask. We will delete your signup and every answer attached to it, and reply to say we have. No form, no account to log into, and no "are you sure".
